Leaving for home

Its tuesday and im flying out to Ireland tonight. After a pretty handy day in the office i left at about 4:30. Not before i went into my HSBC branch in Harbour City to ask "Can i use my HK ATM card in Ireland?"
The answer i got from the (lovely) chinese girl in the branch was "do you have ATM machines in Ireland?" erm, ok! I love the HK misplaced arrogance, have they any idea how they are thought of by the rest of the world? Have they? :)
Needless to say after giving her a piece of my mind i left for the apartment where all i had to do was shower, change and sort a few things. It was really depressing leaving Tez as i worry about her on her own but fingers crossed she will be fine.
Low and behold, just before i leave, it rains, oh yes there is a monsoon coming in, do you think it could wait for a few hours, nope!
After a wet wait for the airport shuttle bus from Gold Coast we got the the airport in no time at all. Thankfully there were no problems with checkin and all i had to do was say goodbye to Tez (sniff) and wait for a few hours to fly out. What an airport by the way, i think 500+ gates, its massive, beautiful building too.
After a meal on the plans it was snooze time. Slept for 7 hours thank god.
